Chelsea Flower Show 2008
Nascentia Landscapes struck gold at the 2008 RHS Chelsea Flower Show – creating an award-winning stand for Notcutts.
Although it was the eye-catching design and combination of plants that caught the eye of the Royal Horticultural Society judges, the award paid testament to the high quality of craftsmanship and the innovative solutions provided by Nascentia. One of the main issues was how to transport the delicate centre-piece fruit trees, a feat which was achieved (after much head scratching!) through building bespoke crates over 9ft square.
The team’s triumph follows success at the show for MD John Kersley in previous years. He has worked on nine Chelsea Flower Show gardens for various companies and was instrumental in the construction of a courtyard garden for a London-based designer at the 2007 show.
